TRAIN OF THOUGHT
OF THE MONTH
I read this book before I finally decided to break up with my ex. It's an inexpensive therapy session that will answer all your questions. Everything that's been weighing heavy on your mind, questioning if all relationships are like this, is this normal? Bancroft and Patrissi answer these questions and more. It validates how you're feeling, reassures you and continually reminds you that you are worthy and deserving of
respect. This book helped me determine that my relationship with my ex couldn't, and shouldn't be saved. It gave me the push and validation I needed to say good bye for good. I hope that it will help make your decision to leave a little easier on you, and help you understand that you're making the best decision for you!
Let's just start by saying that 2010 was not our decade; but don't worry we survived and are now here to take you on the emotional rollercoaster we call our lives. Buckle up for a bumpy ride down memory lane. Long story short (we'll fill you in on the long version later), we dated the same toxic guy back to back and he was horrible to both of us. But of course, like in most abusive relationships, we always found ways to make excuses for him and defend his baffling behaviour. He was a master mind narcissist and through manipulation, gaslighting and a whole lot of mind games, he had us hating each other for a long time. But after 10 long years, when we were both finally done with him for good, we got together and instantly connected over what we had both been through with the same "man"...
